What we collect
Nothing, if you just browse. You can read every page on this site without an account and without telling us who you are.
Your email, if you sign in. Signing in is by emailed link, so we hold your email address and whatever display name you give us. There are no passwords to lose.
What you send us. If you submit an event, claim a listing, or report a problem, we keep what you typed and the email address you gave, so we can act on it and follow up.
Basic analytics. Aggregate page-view counts, to know which sections people actually use. Not tied to individuals.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your email address or hand our list to anyone.
- We don't track your location. No background location, ever.
- We don't collect information about children. If we ever ask about your household, it will be age ranges attached to your own account — never a child's name, birthdate, or photo.
- We don't require an account to use anything on this site.
Who else is involved
The site runs on Vercel and stores data in Supabase. Venue details and photos come from Google Places, and event listings come from ticketing providers and venue calendars. Those companies handle data under their own policies.
Clicking a ticket link or a reservation link takes you to another company's site, which has its own terms.
Your data is yours
Email hello@thejaxlist.com and we'll send you a copy of everything we hold about you, or delete your account and everything attached to it. No hoops.
Changes
If this changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and say so on the site rather than quietly editing the page.
